It's a perfect match - Library Lovers' Day

Boys in Years 5 and 6 got into the spirit of Library Lovers' Day this week as 'lonely books' were put on display. These books have not been borrowed in a while so a small bio was created for each one outlining why they would be a good reading companion. This was attached to the front of the book with boys gaining extra insight into the titles from these notes. Many of the books were borrowed on the first day, ending their lonely lives... for a while at least!

Teachers in the Middle School had the same opportunity during their weekly staff morning tea to rescue lonely books, as well as enjoy delicious red velvet cupcakes baked by Ms Palmer.

Happy Library Lovers' Day to all!
