FEATURING A TINKERING TABLE FOR TESTING OUR ELECTRONICS SKILLS, AND A CRAFT TABLE FOR DESIGNING AND MAKING. WE PLAN TO MAKE AND BUILD SMALL AND USEFUL PROJECTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.

Thursday lunchtimes
(12.30-1.30) in CB202,
or on the Centenary Library balcony.

This term?
The 3 main activities will be:
Robot group, Game/programming group, diorama animation group plus free play.
Week 2: July 23

Makey Makey kits, a few different robots to investigate, Squishy circuits to explore and extra small motors, buzzers, breadboards, LEDs wires to explore circuit principles.
We have one Lilypad kit, a Raspberry Pi kit and a Flora GPS kit.
The 4 GCDuino kits are useful to work out what you plan to make first. The Arduino Unis also drive our MiniBots
the bits and tools to create your project.
This term's craft theme will be creating fun environments for our robots. We will aim to build some electronics into each one.
And crafting things for our Wall hanging project.
We have expanded quickly!
While we all have favourite activities, the single lunchtime is too short to 'get serious' in dedicated projects. Sooo..
This term we will also offer roataion activities of:
Robot Challenge testing and getting ready
Open Day is 22 August
We are starting a slow motion/ animation project.
Building a diorama stage setting, complete with lighting! LEDs and circuits.
Creating the figures from Plasticine or your choice of material.
Telling a short story/ creating a scene that tells a story.
They will be judged, and on display at Open Day.
There will be a Term 2 competition Pizza lunch celebration soon.
